The New Frances Perry House – Opening 22 June 2008
On 22 June 2008 a new Frances Perry House will open on the corner
of Grattan Street and Flemington Road in Parkville.
The new Frances Perry House will be located on the top two
levels of the new Royal Women’s Hospital.
Frances Perry House will continue to offer a range of private
hospital services including General Surgery, Gynaecology, Gynae Oncology,
Maternity, Breast Reconstruction, Plastic Surgery and Urogynaecology
in
a brand-new, soothing environment with panoramic views of
Melbourne.
Features of the new Frances Perry House include
- A dedicated reception area in the main foyer on Ground
Level
- Access via a dedicated lift – to Level 2, 6 & 7
- Inpatient rooms which have single bed facilities
with a number of double beds on the maternity floor. All will
have dedicated
ensuites
- Birthing suites featuring the latest equipment and
facilities in a spacious modern environment
- A courtyard garden providing a quiet space for patients
and their families
- A new Special Care Nursery will include improved
facilities for parents such as a dedicated breast-feeding room
and parent lounge
Frances Perry House will continue to offer a full range of private
hospital services in the lead up to the relocation.
