Dr Qian Soh is a Melbourne-based Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with experience in low-risk and high-risk pregnancies. Having served as the Principal Obstetrics Registrar at the prestigious Royal Women’s Hospital (RWH), he brings extensive experience in managing complex obstetric deliveries, notably as a vital member of the Complex Caesarean Section team. Dr Soh has interests in preterm labour, actively participating in the preterm labour clinic at RWH throughout his training. Fluent in Mandarin and hailing from the multicultural background of Singapore, he is committed to providing patient-centred, culturally respectful, and sensitive care, understanding its profound impact on the patient experience. Dr Soh's dedication to comprehensive women's healthcare extends from pre-pregnancy counselling to postnatal care. His outstanding contributions were recognised with the Star Performer award at the RWH Staff Excellence Award ceremony in 2023. Dr Soh graduated from Monash University in 2012 with honours and completed his training in Obstetrics across Melbourne in different tertiary hospitals including Monash Health, Western Health as well as The Royal Women’s Hospital. He spent the last 7 years at The Women’s where he completed the RANZCOG Advanced Obstetrics training module in his final two years of advanced training. As a consultant Obstetrician, he continues to contribute to the Royal Womens Hospital, teaching and guiding junior doctors, always viewing it as a privilege to be part of the special journey in a patient's life while respecting their wishes and providing evidence-based guidance for a safe delivery.
