Staff Development

With over 300 staff employed in midwifery, nursing, administration and patient support services, Staff Development is presented with a major challenge to meet the diverse training needs of our staff. We accomplish this task with enthusiasm, supporting an education program that ensures a workforce that is a leader in clinical expertise, patient care and customer service.

The professional development of our staff is of the utmost importance to us and we aim to support all staff in the workplace with a dynamic approach to maintaining and furthering their professional goals and objectives.

We support a range of post graduate and graduate courses.

We also provide a in hospital in-service education program based on requests and needs of staff. We have a staff development committee that is responsible to guide the professional development of staff members, both clinical and non clinical.
