Frances Perry House Women's Health Centre provides expert, compassionate care for women at every stage of life. Whether you're navigating adolescence, managing reproductive health, approaching pregnancy, or experiencing changes in midlife and beyond, our specialist team works closely with you and your GP to provide personalised support. We help diagnose and manage a wide range of women's health concerns, including menstrual health, pelvic pain, bladder and bowel issues, and menopause, so you can feel informed, supported and in control of your health.

Who we help

You may be referred to Frances Perry House Women’s Health Centre if you are experiencing:

  • Symptoms related to perimenopause or menopause (such as hot flushes, sleep problems, mood changes or hormone concerns)
  • Heavy, irregular or unexpected bleeding
  • Ongoing pelvic pain
  • Conditions such as endometriosis or adenomyosis
  • Bladder, bowel or pelvic floor problems

What care looks like

If you attend our service, you can expect:

  • Appointments usually available within two weeks
  • A nurse review of your referral so care can begin quickly
  • A care plan suited to your symptoms and stage of life
  • Access to telehealth appointments when appropriate
  • Support from a team that may include doctors, nurses and allied health professionals
  • Access to on-site services such as imaging, procedures, physiotherapy and psychology if required

Your GP stays involved and receives updates after every appointment.

How we work with your GP

Frances Perry House Women’s Health Centre works in partnership with your GP. This means:

  • Your GP remains your main doctor
  • We focus on the area of care you are referred for
  • We communicate clearly with your GP so your care is joined-up

Appointments and referrals

You will need a referral from your GP to attend this service.

Some appointments may be provided by telehealth, depending on your needs and where you live.
