She has completed advanced training in laparoscopic (key-hole) surgery and performs a wide range of gynaecological surgery. In her roles as Medical Director of Birth Centre (Royal Women’s Hospital) and Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (Western Health), she was instrumental in ensuring both safety and patient experience were prioritised. Lauren continues to work as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Royal Women’s Hospital, where she takes great pleasure in teaching and mentoring junior medical staff.
