Dr Jonathan Nettle is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with an interest in fertility in private practice at Frances Perry House. He also works as a consultant at the Royal Women’s Hospital.  His practice covers all pregnancies from low to high risk. Jonathan is highly regarded for his reassuring bedside manner and the calm confidence his experience brings. Jonathan’s style of practice is one that makes each patient feel safe, in control and empowered to make informed decisions.

Jonathan’s obstetric practice covers:

Jonathan works with Number One Fertility and manages both male and female infertility and provides a range of services from initial assessment through to IVF if required.

General Gynaecology
Dr Jonathan Nettle is experienced in providing care for a wide range of gynaecological conditions of all levels of complexity. He has trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery and minimally invasive surgery.

Experience
Jonathan graduated from Medicine and Surgery at Monash University with Honours in 2009.  He commenced medical practice at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.  At this time he completed a post graduate diploma in surgical anatomy at the University of Melbourne.  Jonathan subsequently moved to complete specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Royal Women’s Hospital, Parkville.  His training was characterised by management of complex obstetric patients and extensive experience in the birth suite. Jonathan’s advanced fellowship training centred around a combination of high-risk obstetrics, ultrasound, gynaecology and advanced laparoscopy for conditions such as endometriosis.  Having received his fellowship Jonathan completed a Masters in Reproductive Medicine at the University of New South Wales.  He undertook further training in the management of infertility and works as a specialist with Number One Fertility.
