Dr Diana Johnston

MBBS FRACP

Diana grew up in country Western Australia and completed her medical degree at The University of Western Australia.  She commenced paediatric training at Princess Margaret Hospital, with the final 6 months of basic training at The Kent and Canterbury Hospital, UK.  Advanced training took her to Great Ormond Street Hospital, London; East Surrey Hospital, Redhill UK; The Royal Women’s Hospital and The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne.

Diana has always loved working with neonates, particularly in level 2 nurseries. She enjoys the privilege of continuing their care throughout childhood. She previously worked in a number of private maternity hospitals but has now confined neonatal care to Frances Perry House and the newborn follow up clinic at The Women’s Hospital. Her private consulting rooms are colocated which ensures rapid availability for inpatient care. Her practice covers neonatal care, general and developmental paediatrics.

Away from work, Diana has a wonderful family with her husband and 3 young adult children. She tries to keep fit and enjoys cooking, reading, relaxing and travel.
