Dr. Weiqing Huang is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who cares for women throughout their pregnancy and birth, and has an interest in complicated and high risk pregnancies. He is very supportive of patients’ needs and guided by their expectations, and will always try to let their pregnancy be as natural as they want it to be.
Dr. Huang practices in all areas of gynaecology, including contraception and infertility, and has a keen focus on the management of prolapse, abnormal Pap smears and laparoscopic surgery. He is very generous with his time and will always give patients plenty of attention during visits in his consulting rooms at Frances Perry House to discuss problems or concerns and provide the most up-to-date information.
Dr. Weiqing Huang graduated from Beijing Medical University (now the Medical School, Beijing University) in 1987. He came to Australia in 1988 to continue his postgraduate study in hypothalamic neuropeptides and was awarded a PhD degree from Monash University in 1993. He then went on to complete his Obstetrics and Gynaecology traning at the Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne.
